Tough race for Courtney and Team USA in Aarhus. Here is Courtney’s post race thoughts:
“Well, not really sure what to say about that one except, ouch. Definitely one of the hardest days of racing I’ve ever had and without a doubt the toughest race I’ve ever experienced. Disappointed I wasn’t able to contribute more for the team, but always grateful for the opportunity to represent the USA. Thankful for such a wonderful support system, the group of women I had the opportunity to race with, and all the cheers out on the course yesterday. Taking away a lot of lessons to hopefully come back and redeem myself in a couple years. Looking forward though to getting back to my favorite time of the year, steeple season! “

The 2019 World XC Champs will be hosted in Aarhus, Denmark. This 43rd edition of the event that will take place on March 30th, 2019.
The course includes running on the grass roof of the Moesgaard Museum, a mud pit, sand pit, water splash, cheering tent, and “viking zone” on a 2k loop.
