Courtney sets a new personal record, with the first sub-9 clocking by an American in the steeplechase taking over 3 seconds off of her previous American Record. She finished 2nd In the race, her highest placing at a Diamond League qualifying her for the Diamond League Final in Zurich in September.

Courtney will run in her second straight Pre Classic on Aug. 21st in Eugene, OR at Hayward Field where she will race the 3000m Steeplechase. This will be Courtney’s first race after taking Silver at the Tokyo Olympic Games and a return to Hayward Field after a successful Olympic Trials in June. Pre Classic will be Courtney’s first Diamond League meet of the year, as she will look to qualify for the Diamond League Final later this summer in Zurich, Switzerland.
