The USATF Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, IA for the second year in a row. The 2019 championship will determine Team USA for the IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar beginning in September. Defending world champion and US champion Emma Coburn has an automatic bye to the World Championship, so Team USA is eligible to send 4 women to the World Championships in the Steeplechase. Top 3 at USA’s with the world standard will automatically be headed to the Middle East to represent USA in Doha. Courtney took 2nd last year on the Blue Oval, for her third consecutive 2nd place finish at USA’s.
Courtney will race the final of the USATF Championship on Sunday, July 28th at 6:09 PM CST.
